ABOUT US
STUDIO
Studio Mastrella was founded by Leopoldo and Romano Mastrella in 1985 in Anzio.
The main studio is located in the residence designed by Leopoldo Mastrella for himself, a house overlooking the sea, built on the remains of a Roman Villa. Here a contemporary and highly sophisticated taste is in constant dialogue with the the past, without ever overshadowing it.
Having been the core of the Studio Mastrella for almost thirty years, the house was completely renovated in 2013 by Romano to make it more functional to accommodate the needs of the expanded design team.
Through the years the studio has expanded its interests, in order to accompany the clients through every aspect of the projects: architecture, interior design, product design and, to add even more value to the work, art consulting.
Moreover, since the 90s Studio Mastrella planned and executed several projects for museums and temporary exhibitions.
While the foundations of Studio Mastrella are deeply rooted in the Italian style and landscape, the studio has a natural international vocation. Its works can be found all around the world, from Italy and Europe to the United States, from Dubai to Mumbai.

WHAT DO WE DO
The mission is to combine Art and Technology in the project, creatively and sustainably with an eclectic mood. We also have developed planning and landscape design projects.
ARCHITECTURE
Now more than ever, staying at home has a substantial value. We have always designed interior spaces on a human scale, trying new ideas and concepts, with an eye always turned to the future.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Exhibiting art to make it comprehensible to everyone: this is the formula of our work to design exhibitions.
EXHIBITION DESIGN
To us collecting is the gathering of interesting elements, both for aesthetic pleasure and for the aim of acquiring knowledge. Our goal is to find works of art that are in perfect harmony with the design of the house: we assist private clients in the purchase works of art and in their assessment.
ART CONSULTING
The design area develops from graphic visions to "made in Italy" products of hancrafted beauty and functionality.
